Trust in a REALTOR® is essential for finding the right home. That’s why Kayla Houston fights for her clients like she would for herself. Using her decade of real estate experience and her background as a small business owner, Kayla puts herself in the shoes of her clients to see the home buying process through their eyes. To Kayla, Houston’s ever-changing dynamic energizes the search for a perfect home. Whatever her clients’ desires, be it a traditional style in Tanglewood or a hip condo in her favorite neighborhood of EaDo, the city has a place for them and Kayla has the skills to find it.
Kayla is her clients’ advocate every step of the way. She uses her expertise in marketing and negotiation to help them find comfort in a home where each day is better than the last. Whether you prefer to be involved in every step of the process or you need her to take the reins on finding the right property, her adaptability and industry knowledge make her the ideal REALTOR® for a city so unique.
Before she entered real estate, Kayla attended the University of Houston-Downtown studying chemistry and biology before opening and later selling her own business. When she isn’t speaking with clients or on the hunt for their new home, Kayla loves to immerse herself in Houston’s vibrant food culture. The diversity that characterizes her hometown means there’s always something new and interesting to do, and she enjoys meeting new people from different walks of life. Kayla also fosters dogs for Mile High Labrador Retriever Mission, helping these beautiful animals transition to no-kill shelters in Colorado where they move on to their forever home. Always learning and seeking to improve herself, Kayla has recently returned to school, pursuing a marketing degree online at the Colorado State University.
Like his favorite neighborhood EaDo, Keaon Hobson is drawn to the eclectic nature of his native Houston, from the businesses to the entertainment to the people to the food. The mix of historical communities and newer builds all over the city make it one of the most excit ing times to buy a new home, and as the market continues to energize and reshape the city he is dedicated to helping his clients secure and enjoy the next chapter of their lives. His background in finance gives Keaon unique insight into the investment aspects of the home buying process, and he uses those skills to find properties that will grow with his clients. Whether it’s your first time or your fifth time, buying a home is a big decision, and Keaon prides himself on making the process as seamless as possible and free of surprises.
Keaon came to the City of Houston when he was 10 years old, growing up in Bellaire and graduating from St. Pius. He attended Bryant University in Rhode Island on a full football scholarship, but decided he preferred academics to flag patterns and gave it up to pursue economics at the University of Houston. Before coming to Carnan, he was in energy investment banking, served as Captain at the award-winning restaurant Pass & Provisions, and was the bourbon steward- aka whiskey sommelier- at the Four Seasons. In his free time, you can find Keaon enjoying a fine meal, attending spirit tastings, or challenging himself with active outdoor experiences.
